'Tis The Season! Catch The Shuttle To See Whales, Elephant Seals

The annual bus service begins New Year's Eve to Point Reyes National Seashore best viewing areas.

NORTH BAY, CA – A winter shuttle service to the Point Reyes headlands, including the best areas to see gray whales and elephant seals, will begin at the end of the month, Dec. 31, National Park Service officials said.

The shuttle service, in its 19th year, is run to ease congestion around the best viewing areas and protect the headlands. At the best viewing areas, parking is limited.

The shuttle service will end in early April, park service officials said.
