Twin Brothers Arrested In Petaluma On Suspicion Of Fatal Stabbing
Two brothers have been arrested for their suspected involvement in the stabbing of a 23-year-old Novato man.
PETALUMA, CA — Twin brothers were arrested in connection with the fatal stabbing of a 23-year-old in Petaluma last week, officials said.
On July 10, officers responded to a report of an assault victim with injuries on the 100 block of Keller Street in downtown Petaluma around 1:49 a.m., the Petaluma Police Department said in a news release.
Officers found a man lying in the roadway suffering from puncture wounds, according to the release. Officers attempted to revive the man using CPR and a defibrillator, but the man, Adolfo Martinez Pena of Novato, succumbed to his injuries, officials said.

Alejandro G. Sanchez, 23, of Petaluma was identified as a suspect. He was found in San Pablo, where he was arrested and then later booked into the Sonoma County Jail on suspicion of murder, police said.
Alejandro's twin brother Luis Sanchez, 23, of Petaluma, was also arrested on suspicion of committing an assault with a deadly weapon, a baseball bat, on the same day, police said.
