Up and Coming Sibling-Fronted Band to Perform in Petaluma

A band that's burst onto the national stage this year is headed to Petaluma.
"My Brother She's My Sister," which earlier this year appeared on The Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson. will perform at the Lagunitas Brewing Company's on Sept. 30.
The band features a quintet fronted by brother-sister duo Robert and Rachel Kolar that plays an eclectic mix of sounds, with descriptions ranging from "flamboyant folk" to "psych-acoustic."

The band has been featured in music publications including FILTER, Paste, Teen Vogue and CMJ.
The band features a tap-dancing percussionist, a stand up bass player, and a lap slide player. The two lead band members are siblings.

"You can tell they have chemistry by watching them perform, but they're both such strong leaders too," publicist Dana Cooper said.
