VP Biden, Wife To Visit Bay Area Later This Week

Vice President Joe Biden and his wife will visit the Bay Area later this week for events in San Francisco, Oakland and Cupertino, White House officials said today.

The vice president is traveling to San Francisco on Thursday for a political fundraiser, then on Friday will visit Oakland to visit a PG&E facility and discuss the importance of investing in job-training programs, according to White House officials.
The vice president’s wife, Jill Biden, will also visit De Anza College in Cupertino this week to highlight the Obama Administration’s commitment to community colleges.
