BAY AREA, CA — The National Weather Service has issued a wind advisory until 9 p.m. Monday for the greater San Francisco Bay Area and Central Coast.
A wind advisory means that winds of 35 mph are expected. Local gusts up to 50 mph are possible, with the strongest winds expected near the waters and through the gaps, the National Weather Service said.
Watch for branches and other debris. Gusty winds can result in hazardous driving conditions, as well as blow around unsecured objects. Tree limbs could be blown down and a few power outages may result, forecasters said.
