The Wragg Fire burning near Lake Berryessa in Napa and Solano counties is currently estimated at 6,900 acres, and firefighters have it 47 percent contained as of this morning.
All mandatory evacuation and road closure orders are being lifted as of 10 a.m., according to a statement from Cal Fire. There are currently 1,825 firefighters on scene, with 157 fire engines, 28 bulldozers and 13 helicopters.

The fire has destroyed an outbuilding and a tent trailer, and 140 other structures remain threatened. No injuries have been reported, according to Cal Fire.
Officials have scheduled a townhall meeting where residents affected by the incident can ask questions after fire officials present an overview of what happened during the fire and their current objectives going forward, according to Cal Fire.
That will occur at 6 p.m. this evening in the Winters Fire Department, 700 Main St., in Winters.
The cause of the blaze remains under investigation, and at this time there is no estimate for when the fire will be fully contained.

State Highway 128 reopened this afternoon as firefighters continue to battle a wildfire that has burned 6,900 acres in Napa and Solano counties.
The fire was first reported Wednesday at 2:24 p.m. and may have started when a vehicle crashed at 7700 State Highway 128 at Wragg Canyon Road, according to Cal Fire officials.
As of 7 p.m., the fire was 30 percent contained but still threatening 140 structures, fire officials said.
Evacuations have been lifted for the Golden Bear Estates Area and for residents on County Road 87. Additionally, all areas north of Highway 128, such as Canyon Creek Resort and Positas Road, will no longer be evacuated, fire officials said.
Evacuations, however, remain in place for the Quail Ridge Community and all residents on the west side of Pleasant Valley Road from Highway 128 to Mix Canyon Road, fire officials said.
Red Cross officials have closed an evacuation center that was located at the Winters Community Center. However, a large animal evacuation center remains open at 29775 County Road 31 in Winters, fire officials said.
Firefighters are having trouble accessing some areas where the fire is burning, as the terrain is brush-covered, rugged and steep, according to fire officials. Firefighters are reinforcing and building a containment line around the southwest side of the fire, fire officials said.
As of this evening, 1,506 fire personnel, 157 fire engines, 52 fire crews, 13 helicopters, 35 bulldozers, and 15 water tenders have been dispatched to the fire, according to Cal Fire officials. The fire has destroyed one outbuilding and a tent trailer, fire officials said.
No injuries have been reported since the fire began. The official cause of the fire is still under investigation, fire officials said.

Cal Fire is reporting that Highway 128 is now open and all areas north of Highway 128 will no longer be evacuated, including the Canyon Creek Resort and Positas Road.
The Wragg Fire, as of 11:45 a.m., remained at 6,900 acres burned and 20 percent containment, the department said.

A brush fire in the Lake Berryessa area of Napa County has burned 6,900 acres and is about 20 percent contained, according to information released by Cal Fire this morning.
The Wragg fire started Wednesday at 2:24 p.m. after a vehicle crash at 7700 state Highway 128 at Wragg Canyon Road. The fire is currently threatening 150 structures, and the Quail Ridge and Canyon Creek area communities remain under mandatory evacuation this morning.
Evacuations were lifted Thursday night for residents in the Golden Bear Estates area and for residents of County Road 87.
The fire has destroyed one outbuilding and tent trailer, and one other structure has been damaged, according to Cal Fire. State Highway 128 from Wragg Canyon Road to Pleasant Valley will remain closed. The highway is also closed at County Road 89.
The American Red Cross has opened an evacuation center at the Winters Community Center at 201 Railroad Ave. in Winters, and a large animal evacuation center has been opened at 29775 County Road 31 in Winters.
As of this morning, 1,506 fire personnel, 157 fire engines, 54 fire crews, 13 helicopters, 35 bulldozers, and 18 water tenders have been dispatched to the fire, according to Cal Fire officials. Winds have been erratic during the firefighting efforts, and the terrain is brush covered, rugged and steep with difficult access, fire officials said.

#WraggFire increased in size late today, burning some 6,900 acres, up from 6,000 this afternoon, however, firefighting efforts improved with a reported 15 percent containment, according to Cal Fire.
Firefighters involved now number 1,372, according to the agency.
Evacuations are lifted, as of 6 p.m. this evening in the Golden Bear Estates area and for residents on County Road 87. Evacuations remain in place for the Quail Ridge Community and Canyon Creek Area.
“Firefighting personnel continue to aggressively work in treacherous terrain, providing structure defense and improving containment lines. All road closures will remain closed,” Cal Fire said.

#WraggFire has spread from 6,000 acres this morning to 6,710 acres by this afternoon at about 1 p.m., according to Cal Fire officials.
Containment is reported at 5 percent.
Firefighters involved now number 1,300 from agencies including CAL FIRE, Napa County Fire, Winters FPD, Vacaville FPD, Vacaville City Fire, Napa County Sheriff, Solano County Sheriff, Yolo County Sheriff, CHP, RED CROSS, Napa County Roads, BLM, Bureau of Reclamation, North Bay Incident Management Team and CAL FIRE Incident Management Team 6, the agency said.

The Wragg fire started Wednesday at 2:24 p.m. after a vehicle crash at 7700 state Highway 128 at Wragg Canyon Road.
Wednesday night, the fire was reportedly at 4,000 acres, according to Cal Fire Officials. The fire is threatening 200 structures, and the Quail Ridge and Golden Bear communities are under mandatory evacuations this morning. The Canyon Creek and Lake Solano campgrounds have been evacuated, and hikers in the Cold Canyon area have also been evacuated.

The “Wragg” vegetation fire has burned 700 acres of steep, brush covered terrain in the Lake Berryessa area of Napa County, a Cal Fire spokeswoman said.
The fire started after a vehicle accident at 7700 state Highway 128 at Wragg Canyon Road around 2:30 p.m., Cal Fire spokeswoman Suzie Blankenship said.
Homeowners in the Mix Canyon area, where structures were threatened, campers at Canyon Creek Campground and hikers in the Cold Canyon area have been evacuated, Blankenship said.
The fire was zero percent contained at 5 p.m., and there are 300 firefighters including four helicopters and 10 fire crews at the scene, Blankenship said.
State Highway 128 at Wragg Canyon Road is closed to through traffic, Blankenship said.

UPDATE: Wednesday, July 22, 4 p.m.
Cal Fire is responding to a vegetation fire near Lake Berryessa that started from a traffic collision on state Highway 128 around 2:30 p.m.
The fire is burning between the Markley Cove Resort and Monticello Dam, according to the CHP. A spokeswoman for the resort said the fire is burning about 2 miles away and she is waiting instructions from Cal Fire.
Highway 128 is closed from the resort campground south of the Napa-Solano County line to Markley Cove in east Napa County, according to the CHP.

Highway 128 is closed this afternoon between Wragg Canyon Road and Monticello Road due to a vegetation fire caused by a vehicle accident, according to Napa County officials.
