1 Dead, 1 Injured In Oakland Shooting Sunday Night

OAKLAND, CA — One person was killed and another was injured in a shooting Sunday night in East Oakland, according to police.

The shooting occurred at 8:26 p.m. in the 7700 block of Bancroft Avenue, police said.

Both male victims were taken to a hospital. One of them died and the other suffered a gunshot wound to his abdomen and is in critical condition, police said.

The suspect remains at large, police said.
