Activity kits for Children's Hospital

At the beginning of May, Havens students joined Christina Wagg, parent and core member of Havens Community Service Crew, in making activity packets for patients at Children’s Hospital Oakland. Students had three assembly stations going at the same time: creating puzzle placemats, making bookmarks, and assembling beading kits. This activity is one that Havens Community Service Crew employs every year because the students can appreciate that kids who are stuck in a hospital bed might need entertaining activities to keep them busy over long days.
