2015 Summer Registration now Open – New Schedules and Updates!
The Academy of Integrated Studies and Community Engagement (A.I.S.C.E.) returns for its’ fourth year at Piedmont High School. AISCE (“ace”) is a service-learning program for students entering 9th-12th grades that integrates community service with informal collaborative seminars emphasizing discussion, exploration and reflection. Courses such as: “Math for All”, and “Farm to Table!” will be offered again this summer along with new courses: “To Have and Have Not”, and “East Bay Community Development”
Building on our partnerships in the East Bay AISCE will again be continuing exciting partnerships with O.U.S.D and local non-profits supporting youth. AISCE students will have the opportunity to work and engage locally in two-week classes with up to 35 hours of community service credit depending on course.
