Goats Will Return To Piedmont To Clear Flammable Vegetation
This year, the goats will also be working up the slope at Blair Park to improve the safety of adjacent homes from a grass fire.

The Piedmont Fire Department is actively clearing brush and grass utilizing CalFire Hand Crews at Blair, Abbott/Maxwelton and behind Coaches Field to improve the defensible space. In Late June, the Goats will return to clear the remainder of flammable vegetation. This year they will also be working up the slope at Blair Park to improve the safety of adjacent homes from a grass fire.
