Man Murdered Across the Street From Kaiser Identified

The victim was found in Mosswood Park.

OAKLAND, CA — A man found stabbed to death last month in Oakland's Mosswood Park has been identified as 47-year-old Johnathan Ellis, according to the Alameda County coroner's bureau.

Ellis was found dead when police responded at 7:18 a.m. on Dec. 21 to the 3500 block of Broadway, across the street from Kaiser Permanente's Oakland Medical Center, police said.

Ellis suffered multiple stab wounds and died in the park.
