The Most Expensive Home Sold in the East Bay in 2016 is in Oakland

The most expensive home sold in the East Bay in 2016 is located in Oakland, according to the San Francisco Business Times. (1) The property, located at 6889 Devon Court and known as the Felton Estate, has panormic views of the bay, with a modern design inspired by Frank Lloyd Wright, and is 14,000 square feet in size. (2) It sold for $20.5 million.

Piedmont has 4 of the 10 properties on the list. Number 3 is located at 5 Glen Alpine in Piedmont, and sold for $6.2 million. Number 5, located at 57 Crest Road and sold for $5.85 million. Number 9, located at 268 La Salle Avenue, and sold for $5,18 million, and number 10 is 83 Sea View Lane.

Other cities with top ten bragging rights include number 2 in Danville, with the sale of 4263 Golden Oak Court, which sold for $9.2 million, number 6 in Alamo, located at 115 Stephanie Lane and a selling price of $5.77 million, number 7 in Danville at 5945 Bruce, which sold for $7.76 million, and number 8 in Brentwood with a land sale from Trilogy Vineyards located at 1973 Barbaresco Lane. Recently sold is the magical Mediterranean style home, located at 24 Marlborough Court in Piedmont, offered at $2,995,000.
