OAKLAND, CA - A motorcyclist who died after a crash on state Highway 24 in Oakland Saturday evening has been identified as 45-year-old Rupert Page, according to the Alameda County coroner's bureau.
Around 6:55 p.m., California Highway Patrol officers responded to a report of a crash involving a motorcyclist on eastbound Highway 24 just west of state Highway 13, according to the CHP.
Page, a San Jose resident, reportedly struck a tree as he was traveling on his motorcycle, CHP officials said.
