Police searching for Gunman Who Critically Injured Woman
Oakland Police are offering a reward for the suspect.
Police are looking for a man in a silver convertible who shot and critically injured a woman in East Oakland on Wednesday evening, police said today.
The 18-year-old woman was shot in the 7200 block of Bancroft Avenue at about 6:30 p.m., police said. She was found there suffering a gunshot wound and taken to a hospital in critical condition.
The suspect was described as a black man in his 50s standing about 6 feet tall and weighing 170 pounds, according to police. He was wearing a white baseball cap and a white jacket.

Police have offered a $5,000 reward for the suspect’s capture.
