Preventive Health Training
Child care providers, you are invited to register for this 8-hour health and safety training that is required for all child caregivers.
This eight-hour course is offered in English and includes information on Preventive Health, including immunizations, seat belt safety, preventing infections and injuries, food safety, asthma, sudden infant death syndrome (SIDS), shaken baby syndrome (SBS), and recognizing and reporting child abuse.
When combined with the CPR & First Aid class, it meets the state licensing requirement of 16 hours to operate a child care program.
