Riot of Colors Spring Flowers: Photo of the Day

PIEDMONT, CA — On Monday Patch showed off a photo of backyard camellias, sent by Paul Greenstone of Orinda. (We later learned that yesterday was his birthday, so Happy Birthday, Paul!)

It wasn't long before Donald Fones of Piedmont sent a photo of his backyard flowers, show-off tulips and ground cover with white flowers. Is the ground cover star jasmine? And are there poppies preparing to bloom? The flower bed looks vibrant and lush. Our wet winter has certainly agreed with East Bay gardens. Thank you for sending your photo, Donald!
