PIEDMONT, CA — Our beautiful autumn weather is about to turn cool, blustery, and wet. But many people have said they welcome the upcoming rain to clear the air.
We need only think back to two months ago when North Bay wildfires turned the sky a horrid orange. Ann Rapson snapped this photo on Sept. 9. She wrote, "It feels like the apocalypse! Here's a photo I took about 10:30 this morning from the Oakland Hills Swim and Tennis Club overlooking Mt. Diablo. The mountain is usually quite visible!" Notice the lights on at 10:30 in the morning!
Free water for our gardens will also be welcome.
