Spirit To Add 2 Daily Flights From Oakland To LAX

Spirit Airlines has announced plans for two daily non-stop flights from Oakland International Airport to Los Angeles International Airport (LAX) starting in November. The “Bay-to-Basin” corridor is one of the world’s busiest air-travel markets, according to Spirit.

There are a total of 24 flights connecting OAK and LAX every day, including offerings from Southwest Airlines and Delta Air Lines, according to OAK spokesman Keoni Wagner. Spirit also offers daily nonstop flights from Oakland to Las Vegas (LAS), Chicago (ORD) and Dallas Fort Worth (DFW).
