Three Suspects Arrested in Oakland After Home Invasion, Vehicle Pursuit
The chase began in San Leandro after a deputy spotted a suspect vehicle resembling one involved in the robbery.

Three people were arrested in Oakland this afternoon and a fourth remains at large following a vehicle pursuit triggered by a Castro Valley home invasion robbery, an Alameda County Sheriff’s Office spokesman said today. The robbery was reported in Castro Valley on Sweetbriar Place at 3:12 p.m., according to sheriff’s Sgt. JD Nelson.
A deputy who spotted a suspect vehicle resembling one involved in the robbery began a pursuit a short time later around 150th Avenue and Interstate Highway 580 in San Leandro. The suspect vehicle crashed in the area of Keller Avenue and Interstate Highway 580, and officers were able to arrest three out of the four suspects in the car and recover one firearm.
The fourth suspect remains at large, and the sheriff’s office is searching the area now. The suspects were not injured in the crash, Nelson said. Details of the home invasion robbery were not yet available.
