
BERKELEY, CA — Two men are under arrest facing charges of robbery, carjacking, and felony evading while a third remains at large.
Berkeley Police report that just before midnight last Thursday, the victim parked her car on the 2100 block of Prince Street. As she got out she was approached by three men, one armed with a handgun. Police say, "They told her to get back into her car. The victim dropped her purse, cell phone, car keys, and ran. The suspects picked up her property and fled the area in her vehicle."
A few minutes later, a patrol officer spotted the car driving in the south campus area. The officer chased the car to Halcyon Court and Prince Street, where the two occupants got out of the car and ran. They were both detained and arrested. A replica firearm was recovered in the vehicle.

The third suspect was tracked to the Ashby BART station where some of the victim’s property was recovered. That suspect remains at large.

The pair that was arrested are 23 year old Terrence Holyfield and Charles Anderson, 18, both of Oakland. Holyfield faces an additional charge for violating the terms of his parole.
