PIEDMONT, CA — Have you noticed the new fencing at Piedmont's the corporation yard? It's there wil corral the goats, hired by the City of Piedmont to munch their way through overgrown vegetation behind the corporation yard.
The timing is perfect, with the vegetation dried-out from the heat wave, increasing the fire hazard with each passing day.
The goats will arrive this Saturday, June 15.

A few reminders: this is not a petting zoo, so the goats are not tame. And the fence — it's electrified. Don't touch and, especially, make sure that your children know that they can't touch the fence.
