2 Auto Burglary Suspects Arrested In Pinole
Hercules Police, Contra Costa County Sheriff's Deputies, and the San Pablo Police K9 unit helped search for a suspect who ran away.

PINOLE, CA — Two suspected auto burglars were arrested in Pinole early Friday morning. Sean Donohue and Orlando Padilla were booked into jail on charges of auto burglary, driving on a suspended license, probation violations, and an outstanding warrant.
Police received a call at 3:40 a.m. about an auto burglary in progress in the 500 block of Hanley Court. Two suspects were seen by a witness in the victim’s vehicle. They fled in a white 1991 Oldsmobile sedan towards Tara Hills Drive.
Pinole Police Officers arrived within minutes and located the vehicle on Tara Hills Drive and Limerick Road.

According to a written report from police, "The suspect vehicle traveled southbound on Limerick Road towards Dolan Way, made a left onto Dolan Way and stopped at the dead end into the driveway of Tara Hills Elementary School. The passenger in the vehicle exited and fled through the school. With the assistance of Hercules Police Department, Contra Costa County Sheriff’s Department, and the San Pablo Police K9 unit, the suspect was apprehended without incident."

The driver of the vehicle stayed in the car and was arrested without incident.
