Burglar Coming Through Window Scared Off By Woman, Police Say
The suspect was arrested a short time later.

HERCULES, CA — A woman confronted a burglary suspect coming through her kitchen window and scared him off, according to Hercules Police. She and a witness provided police with a description of the suspect and a partial licence plate of the car he fled in. Minutes later, Keonte Woods, 22, of Vallejo, was under arrest.
The drama unfolded Monday just after 12:3o p.m. in the 1800 block of Pheasant Drive. After the woman confronted the suspect, he fled from her backyard and left in a gray Honda Civic. A vehicle matching the description and the partial license plate number was located leaving the area and was stopped.
Woods was positively identified as the person who was burglarizing the residence, police say. Suspected stolen property was found in the vehicle.

In addition, Woods was on probation for possession of a concealed firearm.
