County Coroner IDs Last Week's Shooting Victim
The 27 year old was killed Dec. 21 in North Richmond.

A man who was fatally shot last week in the community of North Richmond was identified today by the Contra Costa County coroner’s office as 27-year-old Mitchell Wilson.
The Richmond resident was killed in a shooting that occurred at about 10 p.m. on Dec. 21 near Fifth Street and Market Avenue, according to Contra Costa County sheriff’s officials. Investigators with the sheriff’s office were not able to provide further details on the incident today.
The shooting followed another homicide about a block away in North Richmond last month.

On Nov. 26, 23-year-old Isela Moreno was found dead at a home in the 400 block of Market Avenue, according to sheriff’s officials.
Sheriff’s officials said the following day that they were seeking two men, Guillermo Sanchez, 21, and Lamont Patterson, 19, in Moreno’s death, but there has been no update since on the case.
