Where/When: Central Stage, 5221 Central Ave Ste 1, Richmond; Friday and Saturday, 8 p.m. to 10 p.m.
Why Go: Written and directed by Amy Sass and inspired by the myth of Bluebeard, this the ninth production by Ragged Wing Ensemble. It features 13 dynamic performers, original live music, inspired choreography, fantastical puppets and props, and ambitious costume, lighting and sound designs. Come see the East Bay's own cutting-edge theater company perform right in West Contra Costa.

Why Go: The exhibit includes displays of photographs, uniforms, flags, equipment, web-gear, helmets, weapons, and other items that were used in the war. There will also be models of aircraft, including helicopters, and ground vehicles.

Why Go: As something new this year, the Port Costa Conservation Society will be sponsoring a month-long art show during May. More than 35 local artists are signed up to display their work in the 100-year old school building "Gallery."

Why Go: Every Sunday night is Ska Sunday at the Hotsy Totsy Club! Unkle Fun selects different themed Roots Reggae, Blue Beat, Dancehall and Dub sets each week, along with mixing up drink specials. Taco Truck in the yard all night! Come Out!
