Why Go: Written and directed by Amy Sass and inspired by the story of the pirate Bluebeard, this is the ninth production by Ragged Wing Ensemble. It features 13 performers, original live music and fantastical puppets. Ragged Wing calls itself "the East Bay's own cutting-edge theater company perform right here in West Contra Costa."

Why Go: The exhibit includes photographs and a display of uniforms, flags, helmets, weapons and other items used in the war. Models of helicopters, other aircraft and ground vehicles will also be on display.

Why Go: As something new this year, the Port Costa Conservation Society is sponsoring a month-long art show during May. See the work of over 35 local artists in the 100-year old school building "gallery."

Why Go: Every Sunday night is Ska Sunday at the Hotsy Totsy Club! Unkle Fun selects different themes each week, along with mixing up drink specials. In case you get hungry, there's a taco truck in the yard all evening
