Why Go: The largest county fair in the area has tons of children’s and adult's entertainment, like carnival rides, a mini-tractor pull, pig races, a petting zoo and much more.

Pricing: Kids 12 and under free on Fridays; otherwise, $4-$10 admission, parking extra

Where/When: , 595 Tennent Ave., Pinole; Sunday, 8 a.m.-5 p.m.

Why Go: If any car made since 1975 is still “new” to you, then this is your car show. Come out and admire the chrome.

Why Go: Pay $20 to the city to be included on the map of Saturday’s garage sales, or come out, meet your neighbors and shop.

Why Go: The progressive rock trio makes its only Bay Area stop on its 2011 tour.
