Grab & Go: Marvel at Mysterious Planets, Laugh at Funny Bubbles, Celebrate Trains

  • Why Go: Imagine bubbles in the shapes of squares, and filled with fog! This show will entertain children and parents alike.

4. Mother's Day—Parents' Night Out at Habitot

  • Where/When: Habitot, Berkeley; Sunday, 5:30 p.m.-9:30 p.m.
  • Why Go: Drop off your kids, ages 2-7, for play and fun while parents enjoy a romantic evening out. Pizza for kids' dinner included.
  • Pricing: $30 per child, $20 for siblings.

5. Tilden Regional Park

  • Where/When: Grizzly Peak Boulevard, Berkeley; Open daily 8:30 a.m.-dusk
  • Why Go: Tilden is a favorite for kids on both sides of the Caldecott Tunnel. Bring the little ones to ride the steam train, whirl on the merry-go-round or feed the animals at Little Farm.
  • Pricing: Free admission; $2 per ride
