Grab & Go Kids Planner: Storytime and a Handsome Fox

It's supposed to rain this weekend, so check out these indoor options for our first weekend of Spring:

1. What:

Where/When: Lindsay Wildlife Museum, March 25, 26, 27. Friday from 12 p.m. to 5 p.m. and Saturday and Sunday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. 

Why Go: Walnut Creek’s much-loved Lindsay has a brand new resident: a handsome young gray fox. He was rescued and is just strong enough to have visitors now, so bring your kids down to meet him.

Pricing: Children under 2 years old free -  older children $5, seniors $6 and adults $7.

2. What:

Where/When: March 26, 2011, 1:00pm–5:00pm,1809 4th St Ste B, Berkeley, CA

Why Go: Purchase a pair of Toms shoes and your child can have them custom-designed by an artist for a $10 donation to Toms, which sends shoes to children in need.

3. What:

Where/When: 11 a.m. March 27, Berkeley

Why Go: Catch this breathtaking show of bubbles along with music: some of its moments include spinning, flying bubbles and chain bubbles that look like a centipede.

Pricing: $8/kids, $11 adults

4. What:

Where/When: March 25, 10:00 am, , El Cerrito

Why Go: A story, coloring and free stickers.

5. What:

 Where/When: March 25, 5:30 -9:30 p.m. Habitot, Berkeley

Why Go: Kids get dinner and a night of fun and parents get to leave!

Pricing: $30 per child, $20 per child for siblings
