Jurors Deliver Guilty Verdict in Horrific Murder
The young Pinole woman was pregnant with her second child when she was killed and her body mutilated.

A jury found Raymond Wong guilty today of first degree murder in the 1999 death of his pregnant girlfriend Alice Sin. He faces at least 50 years in prison when he’s sentenced in September.
Sin was just 21 when she died. The couple and their baby were living in Wong’s Pinole home. She disappeared the day before her son’s first birthday. Her mutilated body was found in the Nevada desert two months later. In addition to being shot four times, her four month fetus was cut from her abdomen.
The case included sordid details including a second pregnant girlfriend who moved into Wong’s home just days after Sin disappeared, a stint in prison for child pornography, and Wong’s flight to China in 2009 following his arrest for violating sex offender registration laws. He was arrested in 2011 when he reentered the county.
