Major Crash On Westbound I-80

RICHMOND, CA - A major crash is impacting traffic on westbound Interstate Highway 80 just west of Cutting Boulevard in Richmond this morning.

At one point, all lanes were blocked, according to California Highway Patrol officials.

The collision was first reported at 5:34 a.m. and involved at least six vehicles.

CHP officials said the collision was caused by a motorcycle that was splitting lanes and struck a vehicle.

The cleanup and investigation continues.
