One Dead in Pinole Crash

PINOLE, CA —One person died after a car crash along a Pinole highway off-ramp late Saturday morning, according to the California Highway Patrol.

At around 11:30 a.m., CHP officials learned that a car had crashed into a tree along the Appian Way off-ramp from eastbound Interstate Highway 80, CHP officials said.

No other vehicles were involved in the crash, according to CHP officials.
