Sky Turns Orange From Wildfire Smoke: Photos Of The Day

PINOLE, CA — It was a relatively quiet weekend in the Bay Area as outdoor events were canceled and residents were encouraged to stay indoors and avoid exertion because of the smoke.
In Pinole, Deborah Green ventured outside wearing a N95 mask. She snapped a few photos from the hill above the Pinole High School facing west Saturday afternoon. The sun and sky were eerie. The final photo is Deborah in her mask.
Thanks for sending your photos, Deborah.
