Take Care Today: Wind Advisory Issued For East Bay
Driving could be difficult; trees may topple, weather service says.

The National Weather Service is advising drivers and boaters of hazardous conditions today.
High winds expected in the Bay Area have prompted weather service officials to issue a small craft advisory until 9 a.m. and a wind advisory until at 6 p.m.
The small craft advisory is in effect for an area from Point Arena to Point Reyes and from 10 to 60 nautical miles offshore.

The weather service is suggesting that smaller vessels, roughly 30 feet in length and shorter, avoid navigating in the rough seas caused by the high winds.
The wind advisory is in effect for the North Bay mountains, particularly over Napa County, and the East Bay hills of Contra Costa County, including the Diablo Range. Driving may be difficult, especially for high profile vehicles. Winds could knock down trees.
