TV News Camera Stolen In San Francisco Found In East Bay
California Highway Patrol investigators said they also found stolen laptops and tablets in the Hercules home.

HERCULES, CA — California Highway Patrol investigators recovered a stolen television news camera in a Hercules home this week. CHP officials said a Bay Area TV news outlet reported that the camera was stolen Monday while the crew filmed a segment on US-101 northbound by the Candlestick Park exit in San Francisco. The suspect fled the scene by the time officers arrived.
After further investigation, a search warrant was obtained for a home in Hercules and officers found the stolen camera, nine laptops and five tablets, all believed to be stolen.
CHP officials said no arrests have been made and the investigation is ongoing.
