How long have you lived in Pinole? I have been in Tara Hills for nine years.
What is your impression of Pinole? I think it is too good to be true. Geographically it's so close to the bay and I can live here reasonably. I like the easy access to a lot of other places. The community and participation are strong here.

Where do your kids go to school? All three girls, my two fourth grade twins and my other sixth grade daughter, go to St. Joseph's. I like the high academic standards that the school has there. There's a lot of love and community there, too. The administration is helpful and understanding. My kids' best interests are covered.
What would you like to change about Pinole? I would like to see more sports opportunities and leagues for them. The soccer field at Pinole Valley West will be improved next year. Dealing with the city of Pinole and Amy Woolridge has been great. We are trying to get an adult soccer league started.
What are your favorite places in Pinole? I love the downtown in Pinole and its history. I like the , and the is great.
What is the best thing about being president of the soccer league? Being able to make a big difference in the community by evaluating what works and what doesn't to make changes from that. The board has a lot of experience and enthusiasm. This makes my job easier.
Did you play soccer as a kid? Yes, until I was eight years old.
