ABUSE RECOGNITION AND AVAILABLE RESOURCES

On the 21st Anniversary of the passage of the Violence Against Women Act, learn how to strengthen the support system.

On Thursday, October 15, at 7:00 p.m. Tri-Valley Haven and the L-P-D Branch American Assoc. University Women are sponsoring “Recognizing Signs of Abuse and Resources for Helping” at the Livermore Civic Center Library, 1188 S. Livermore Ave. Vicki Thompson, Director of Domestic Violence Services for Tri-Valley Haven, will speak. The public is invited to attend this free meeting in observance of October as Domestic Violence Awareness Month. Learn to recognize signs of abuse and what resources are available in the community to address the problem.
