Armed With Kitchen Knife, Robber Hits Up 7-Eleven, Shell Gas Station: Pleasanton Police

BREAKING: This is the second time the 7-Eleven has been robbed in recent months.

PLEASANTON, CA — The Shell Gas Station and 7-Eleven convenience store on Hopyard Road were robbed by a knife-wielding man who demanded money from the store clerks late Sunday evening, police officials said. According to police, the suspect, who was armed with a kitchen knife, entered Shell Gas Station around 9:42 p.m. and demanded cash. The suspect left on foot and walked into the 7-Eleven, repeating the threat and demand.

The suspect, who escaped with an undisclosed amount of cash between the two robberies, fled on foot southbound on Hopyard Road. No one was injured during the incidents and police said the robberies do not appear to be connected to the early morning robbery in June at the same 7-Eleven store.

The suspect is described as a white adult man. He was wearing a black hooded sweatshirt, shorts, sunglasses and a grey hat. He is about 180 pounds to 200 pounds and is about 6-feet tall. There was no car associated with these robberies.
