Brush Fire Sends Smoke Through Pleasanton
The smoke could be seen throughout the region.

PLEASANTON, CA— Alameda County firefighters knocked down a brush fire that burned about 11 acres in Pleasanton Sunday evening.
The blaze was reported just before 4:30 p.m. in the area of Dublin Ranch and Schaefer Ranch roads, according to the PulsePoint Phone application.
Air support appeared to be dropping fire retardant chemicals at about 5:30 p.m. The smoke from the fire could be seen all over Tri-Valley and Castro Valley. Cal Fire and East Bay Regional Parks District Fire responded to assist with the firefighting efforts.

No other information was currently available. Alameda County fire has not yet been reached for comment as to the cause of the fire.
