Police Say High School Bomb Scare Not Linked to September Threat

Police searched the Amador Valley High campus and found no bombs, according to the school district.

A bomb threat was sent by email to a Pleasanton high school before classes began this morning, Pleasanton Unified School District officials said. A counselor at Amador Valley High School at 1155 Santa Rita Road received the threat and students and staff were all evacuated to the football field while Pleasanton police investigated.

Police searched the campus and found no bombs. Classes resumed later this morning, according to the school district.

In September, classes at Amador Valley High were canceled following a morning bomb threat made by email.
