Brush Fire Burns 5 Acres In Alameda Co. South Of Pleasanton
The Calaveras Fire blocked some traffic and burned five acres, but had been contained by Tuesday evening.

ALAMEDA COUNTY, CA — A brush fire has been contained after burning five acres Tuesday afternoon near Calaveras Road in Sunol.
Aircraft were helping fight the Calaveras Fire, which reportedly climbed up a hill, according to California Highway Patrol logs.
By 5:19 p.m., it had been fully percent contained, according to Cal Fire. Two lanes were blocked on Northbound I-680 just before State Route 84, causing some delays, CHP said.
