Camp Parks to Open New Gate
The old gate will officially close at midnight on April 6

After months and month of construction, Camp Park’s new gate entrance on Dougherty Road will finally open. Construction on the new Access Control Point began in March of 2013.
“On April 7, 12:01 a.m. Camp Parks will activate the new gate entrance on Dougherty Road and close the old gate entrance on Dublin Boulevard,” Camp Parks spokesperson Dan Gannod said.

The gate is one of the first of the first of six major projects being built in phases as part of the agreement that involves SunCal building the new military facilities in exchange for land that will gradually be transformed into Dublin Crossing.
