A home in the 2700 block of Kennedy St. caught fire for the second time in two days, according to Livermore-Pleasanton Fire Fire Battalion Chief Michael Miller. An alert neighbor saw the flames and called 911, according to Miller.

“On April 4, 2015, the Livermore-Pleasanton Fire Department responded to a report of a structure fire in the 2700 block of Kennedy St in the city of Livermore at 5:34 a.m.,” Miller said. “On their arrival, they found a single family home with heavy smoke and fire coming from the roof and attic area. First arriving crews completed a search and extinguished the fire in the attic. The fire was extinguished within the first 30 minutes.
