Car Ends Up Over Side Of I-680 In Pleasanton Following Wreck
The car reportedly traveled about 200 feet before it came to rest.

PLEASANTON, CA — A car went off of southbound Interstate 680 near Castlewood Drive in Pleasanton toward the frontage road Monday afternoon, according to the California Highway Patrol. The car reportedly traveled about 200 feet before it came to rest. A CHP spokesperson said the driver escaped with only minor injuries.
The crash was reported just after 4 p.m. At least two cars were involved. The CHP and the Alameda County Fire Department crews responded to assist. No other information is available.
An injury crash on eastbound Interstate 580 west of N. Livermore Avenue in Livermore prompted a Sig-alert and is slowing commute traffic this afternoon. The collision, which involved at least three cars, was reported at 3:30 p.m., according to the California Highway Patrol. One of the three cars is overturned and the collision is blocking several lanes on the busy freeway.
