Cat Caught In Engine Compartment Rescued By Firefighters In Pleasanton
The Livermore-Pleasanton firefighters saved the cat from a terrible fate thanks to some quick-thinking and perseverance.
PLEASANTON, CA — Firefighters rescued a Pleasanton cat, who likely used up at least one of its nine lives, after it got hopelessly trapped inside a car engine compartment last week. The curious cat climbed into the compartment of the car parked in its garage and got stuck, prompting the owner to call for help.
When police and firefighters arrived, the concerned owners asked them to free their beloved pet. Firefighters said they spent a considerable amount of time to reach the terrified feline, who was eventually freed and reunited with its owners.
