Kittens Rescued From Zipped-Up Cooler Bag
The kittens were found aboard a boat in San Rafael Yacht Harbor, according to the Marin County Sheriff's Office.
MARIN COUNTY, CA – Seven kittens still have all nine of their lives, thanks to officers from the San Rafael Police Department, Marin County Sheriff's Office and Marin Humane.
The kittens were rescued in a joint operation Saturday morning from a boat in San Rafael, with two of them found in a zipped-up cooler bag, according to the Marin County Sheriff's Office. The kittens were found aboard the vessel in San Rafael Yacht Harbor.
The litter was transported to Marin Humane.

"They are all now heading to Humane and the emergency vet for a better life!" the Marin County Sheriff's Office said on social media.
The owner of the kittens, whose name was not immediately released, was booked on suspicion of animal cruelty, according to the Marin County Sheriff's Office.
