Celebrate 30 years of Art Under the Oaks at Alden Lane Nursery

Art under the Oaks 2016 Celebrating 30 Years of Art Under the Oaks!!
July 16th & 17th – 11 am – 4 pm

The Livermore Art Association will have over 35 local artists represented, demonstrating their work. This event also gives a stage to local musicians.

On Saturday, we’ll feature Four Guys from 11:00-12:30, The Good Time Band from 1:00-2:00 p.m., and Georgi and the Rough Week from 2:30-4:00.

On Sunday, hear The Pleasanton Community Concert Band from 11:00-12:30, followed by The Cool Tones from12:30-1:30 and the Sycamore Strings Academy from 2:00-3:00 p.m. To conclude our event on Sunday, the Pleasanton Ukulele Band will perform from 3:00-4:00.

Since it’s impossible to enjoy art and music without food and wine, we’ve invited local winemakers to share their vintages. You’ll be able to sample from Concannon, Wente, Dante Robere, Mitchell Katz Winery and others. Don’t miss the great lunch offerings of Sweet and Savory Café.

In our kid’s club area, we will offer opportunities for kids to get involved with a FREE art project. Of course, you can’t miss the Tri-Valley Woodcarvers in Seasons, with soap carving for the kids. Have the whole family come and join the fun.

Young Artists Pallet Painting Contest: young artists (ages 15-25) will have a chance to compete on Saturday only from 11-4 p.m. creating a painted or sculpted pallet. We will provide pallets and paints; you bring the talent. You have to paint here at the nursery within the 11-4 time frame on Saturday. A silent auction will follow on Sunday. Pallets will be sold to the highest bidder, all monies go to Livermore and Granada High School Art Programs. Call today to sign up and reserve your pallet – 925-447-0280.
