PLEASANTON, CA — The Pleasanton Police Department suspects a driver who crashed into the wall of an empty flower shop at the corner of Hopyard Road and Owens Drive was intoxicated.

The single-car crash occurred Tuesday and the driver did not appear to have suffered life-threatening injuries, said department spokesperson Teri Yan in an email.

The driver was ticketed and released. The building, which was formerly home to Tri-Valley Flowers, has since been boarded up.
