Driver Identified In Deadly Pleasanton Crash
The car turned right, down an embankment, into a wooded area and struck several trees, according to the California Highway Patrol.

PLEASANTON, CA — A young woman was killed early Thursday morning in a crash on eastbound I-580, west of San Ramon and Foothill Roads, according to the California Highway Patrol.
Bay Area News Group reported that authorities had identified the driver as Lisa Thomason, 22.
Her blue Toyota RAV4 turned right at about 1:25 a.m., headed off the road and down an embankment, then into a heavily wooded area, according to a news release. CHP is unsure what lane she was in or how fast she was driving.

Her car crashed through a chain link fence, onto Dublin Canyon Road, bounced off of a power pole and came to rest against a cable supporting the power pole, CHP said.
She was taken to Eden Medical Center in Castro Valley, where she died from her injuries, CHP said.
