Heads Up, Job Seekers: Work Center Hosting Two Free Workshops

Experts to teach resume tips and job-search strategies.

Job-hunting advice and tips on writing resumes and cover letters will be taught in two free workshops this month by employment specialists from the Pleasanton-based Tri-Valley One-Stop Career Center at the Dublin Library.

The first session, "Job Search from A to Z," is scheduled Tuesday from 1 p.m. to 2:30 p.m., and will zero in on securing work in today's tough labor market.

The "Resume and Cover Letter Writing" workshop is the following Tuesday, Nov. 20, 1 p.m. to 2:30 p.m., with instruction on drafting correspondence to prospective employers.

Registration is not required; workshops are free, open to the public and will be in the library's program room.
